I think I ordered too many phones from them because now every time I try to order it says my payment method was declined. IIRC this is their way of saying you ordered too much already. Tried several cards, new cards etc and my bank is definitely not declining the purchase. This has been going on for weeks.

It's this thin piece of foil with some contacts on it. You fold it over your sim and insert both together into your iPhone on the newest iOS version. Make sure to match the cut corner of the sim, rsim, and tray. A menu pops up, you click the iccid option, enter the iccid, send, accept and you're done. Then you can take it out and put your sim card only. www.rsim5.com has videos of how to put it in your phone in the instructions tab. You also need the iccid on the main page, the one ending in 4753 worked for me. Just search for 'rsim' on eBay and select the 'US only' filter. Get a rsim 15+ or 16 for around $10.

I would like to share a personal experience. I purchased a brand new iPhone XR from eBay (seller: vipoutlet) in March this year. It was locked to Tracfone/Straighttalk. The device didnt come with a sim card, so I was using my old BYOP sim card on this new device. After using it for one month I contacted tracfone unlocking department around 10:30pm ET and told the representative about activating the device since it didnt come with a sim card. She said, I can see your device is locked to tracfone but there is not much information; do you want me to request for unlocking your device. I politely said, if you could, then it would be better. Then after two days, I saw the Carrier restriction option has been changed to No carrier restriction. May be I was lucky and she didnt pay too much attention. Just unlocked the device.

Order, after discount code and taxes it was $228. Hopefully I can get the rsim or equivalent to work, it should be a nice upgrade for my brothers 6s. Anyone got a link to the rsim or other such thing to one they actually have bought and know works. Thanks in advance

I'm guessing this phone would work with Tracfone as well? Right now they have the white version of the same phone on the Tracfone website but then it's $350. Even if you don't purchase a plan this is bargain compared to that. Haven't seen the iPhone XR any cheaper.

yes it works all tracfone brands without need of unlock.
