This is an amazing movie, and has a great sub and dub (awesome that both are included here). I've seen it in theatres twice now.
Even if your not into dubs, I would give the English one here a try. They got an actual deaf actress to play the lead character with said disability, and I feel it adds a lot of authenticity to the experience.

Excellent movie!
This was supposedly leaving Netflix on 06/04 but still there. Don't know if they had a change of heart or not but at this price a no brainer.

I wish they would do dual Audio for all movies... I prefer sub, but my kids like dub better.

Im usually cringing at new anime. This generation of anime since 2000's and up have not improved. However I picked this one out of the bunch to watch on a Sunday and I enjoyed it. The development of the main characters were great. I honestly wished there was love development in the end, but it worked out for me. I recommend it.

No spoilers, but this movie focuses on bullying and the effects on both the abuser and victim. Very good, story to learn from, but note that there are elements of suicide in this movie, if you feel your 8 year old can handle those themes.

Fantastic movie/story. Even if you don't like Anime, give this a try, it's not your stereotypical Anime. At this price, it's worth it even to rent if you don't have netflix to see it.
