Would've been helpful for chase to notify over a month ago when it began but hey better late than never I guess
I know, weirdly enough I got this as an ad on Instagram...I don't see why Chase/Amazon didn't bother sending out an email on the offer but spends money advertising it on IG

Any idea if Hotels.com and Expedia are covered under travel? Chase defines "travel" as,
"Merchants in the travel category include airlines, hotels, motels, timeshares, car rental agencies, cruise lines, travel agencies, discount travel sites, campgrounds and operators of passenger trains, buses, taxis, limousines, ferries, toll bridges and highways, and parking lots and garages. Merchants that provide transportation and travel-related services are not included in this category; for example, real estate agents, educational merchants arranging travel, in-flight goods and services, on-board cruise line goods and services, sightseeing activities, excursions, tourist attractions, RV and boat rentals, merchants within hotels and airports, and merchants that rent vehicles for the purpose of hauling. Purchases from gift card merchants or merchants that sell points or miles will not qualify in the travel category."
Nice catch. They are expensive af anyway around. Costco all the way.
I know Costco is selling top tier gas but I tried on my car for couple months but it run so poor on Costco gas. When I use 76 or chevron it runs great. I love to use costco gas but because of this reason I stopped using them.
I did the first time, tried it again with the same info and it went through the 2nd. Strange, but then this is Amazon and incompetence is their business
Based on your experience, I put my info in 4 times and on the 4th time it worked. Every other time I got the "not for your account" message. No idea why this would be...but heck, it worked!
will we be able to tell we are getting credit along the way or do we top it out and take our chances in the end?
Seems like the fine print said it would take up to 8 weeks or so. I would just use it on things you normally would have used it on and if it works, consider that a bonus.

Yea, but living in the west coast, gas is so expensive it hurts. I don't see the difference between Costco and Arco, and and the alternative, Shell, 76 and Chevron are $0.5+ per gallon.
This is good because Discover and Freedom stop 5% back on gas at the end of June.
MidFlorida Credit Union Visa has no annual fee and 2.5% cashback with NO LIMIT on ALL purchases ALL the time. Most cards have $1,500 limit on SELECT catagories and even at 5% it's $75 max. Just depends how much you spend monthly and in what catagories vs 2.5% on ALL purchases.

Amazon only hires the most incompetent people at all positions. That's the explanation.
