I typically do a true dual monitor setup. Is it easy to have two different apps / windows up at the same time side-by-side? I know it can be done, just don't know how easy it is to operate like that.

Windowed apps sure, just drag to the sides to snap. I have an LG 34" ultrawide. Highly recommend this form factor if you like to edit or create and have all your tool panels available or a video playing on the side or just about anything.

That's subjective. I purchased one of these from Costco for productivity and gaming.

My desk surface is 24" deep, I have this monitor hung on the wall. When used with keyboard and mouse, I need to turn my head a little. When lounging back in my chair, it's fine.

While the size and flatness are fine for me, it's not for everyone.

I might be mistaken, but I believe believe the only way to obtain 1440 and 75HZ on this, is to use the displayport. I've heard that some have been able to overclock this to around 100HZ.

One of the hdmi ports is capable of 60HZ, the other 50HZ.

I've been using this monitor for about a year. Bought my wife the 43" curved version at the same time.
I constantly regret cheaping out on this one and not getting myself the bigger curved monitor.

It *is* a massive improvement from a pair of 19-24" monitors however.

You can just hold the Windows key and use the arrow buttons to snap a window to the side of the screen. I believe it should work with a dual monitor setup too. You might have to hit the arrow key multiple times to get it to snap to the second monitor.
