Amazon.com and BestBuy.com are both offering this mouse at $44.98+tax+free shipping.

BestBuy.com also includes a $20 dollar Razer Gold Code as well. (basically digital cash for game related stuff)

Found this deal today while shopping for a bluetooth wireless mouse. It looks like this mouse is on sale for the $44.98 about once a month, not sure about the Razer Gold Promo.

A few eBay seller have a few "new" Razer Basilisk Hyperspeed Wireless for $36, but neither seller offers returns.

I just got this a couple weeks ago for $40. I'm a really big fan of this mouse so far. Very similar to my Logitech G502 Proteus, the only feature missing is the scroll wheel switch that changes it from "normal" mode to "scroll fast as hell" mode.

I bought it because it has "dual connectivity", meaning there's switch on the bottom to swap from the 2.4GHz dongle to Bluetooth. So I can switch back and forth between my Mac and PC very quickly. I definitely recommend using the dongle if you're gaming, because the Bluetooth mode is noticeably less precise. But of course, I don't game on my Mac, so it's fine.

been using this mouse for a few months now. it's pretty great for the price. the button placement and shape isn't the best but it's enough for me to use in fps.

I've got this mouse when it was $39.99 at Target about a 6 month ago. It's very good ergonomic mouse with the big flow, it has random disconnections, and if you playing competitive games it's makes really difficult to use. I searched different forums for a solution, but none of them worked, firmware update from Razer doesn't even address it. So if you are to use it for competitive games find a better mouse.

I've been using this mouse for over a year, on a daily basis for work. The only "random" disconnections are when the computer is idle. Other than that, it's a solid mouse. I highly recommend it. I have no issues with it at all.

Does this have buttons that can be used for key binding, as in set certain buttons for certain letters on a keyboard. I know squat about pc gaming but my wife has been wanting a wireless mouse with the ability to bind keys to specific buttons... Which isn't the same as programmable buttons as that's only for doing certain things with; which doesn't include setting a side button for whatever key she wants.

Thanks for any help....

Got the basilisk for 99 on sale I like it besides the mouse button side click thing, I like mouse wheel click for grenade throw and I always seem to accidentally hit the side click and cancel my grenade and end up switching weapon instead

I have this mouse, and pretty disappointed by it. The biggest problem is when you are not using the mouse for a few mins, it would become unresponsive. Have to pull out the battery to make it work again.

funny enough that's exactly why I purchased it, I have the g502 at home with gaming pc but also have laptop and didn't want repurchase exact same mouse for laptop so I just got this and for the price and feeling just like my g502 I'm very happy.

So this one doesn't have "scroll fast as hell" mode? I need that mode for reading PDF. This one should have a fast mode, but not fast as hell, right?

Yes, using razer's Synapse 3 program, it's easy to bind to the various buttons. It's pretty flexible but Synapse needs to be installed. I don't have any issues with it, but some folks think it's pretty resource heavy.
