I was able to snag a renewed 2017 ipad 9.7" after the warehouse deal for $209+ tax. I feel that may be a better value. The last 5 fire tablets we've bought become horribly slow and clunky after 1-2 years

I am buying the 8 hd plus with 3gb of ram and 64gb space because I have 3 kids and this is the best deal. I've been waiting for this.

$99 is what this showed up as in cart (8hd plus 64gb)

It's a steal. I am hoping that this has enough power to keep the kids happy for a couple of years. You cannot beat the ease of the parent controls on these things.

That's a really bad deal for a 4 year old iPad.
You can get a brand new one for $299, or even $229 for a 2018 iPad in Apple's refurbished store.

what's the difference between 8 plus and pro? We had a 10 but the screen/digitizer broke from being smashed against a bed on the REAR, that with a hefty case on it too. So we don't trust those for kids anymore. we've had 4 7's that have been more durable

I think a Samsung Tab S6 or S7 might have been a better deal.
