These are my go-to for music or video streaming. Audio is crisp and clean. Advertisements really can stand out! Unless you are hard of hearing, you do not need the audio levels to be high, you can go a 10% to 15% volume levels and be fine. If you fine tuned to your hearing, you can go 1% and still hear the audio stream. I find this an amazing capability.
The sound isolation is good but could be better. For its form factor it is pretty good.
After long use, your ears might need a breather. The tips causes my squeeky-clean ears to itch once a while.
These will fell like there going to fall off and will. I would not trust these while running, walking or any activity besides sitting. In the plane, be careful not to drop them as it's happened to me and i almost lost one.
They both do not hold a consistent charge level . On a "full charge", one of them will get the "low battery" message earlier than the other. At least its a USB-Charge port.
Sony has done a good job with firmware updates as I've had many updates since purchase.
Warning: If you stick these too far in, trying to get a good fit, you may have an incident where the headphone comes out, and the tip gets stuck in you ear. Very scary moment. You'll need a pair of tweezers and someone to help you remove them! So be light and don't push too hard trying to get the maximum sound isolation!
Overall, still happy with the purchase and recommend them.
Renewed with 90day warranty is only $80 as well. And Amazon renewed are usually in like new condition as well.
