As others have said, skip this. They've done much better ones in the past. They just paid me out $400 in March for depositing $1000 back in November. Once it cleared I took all my money out and leave it empty (no minimum requirement).

I previously went for the $400 bonus. I was looking forward to doing business with this bank for online banking. When the bonus wasn't automatically deposited I had to call to complain about it. Requiring customers to call and complain I thought was slimy business practice. As a result I withdrew the bonus and deposited it in another bank.

I did this bonus with only Shipt/IC deposits when it was $400 and it worked for me. I like that there no minimum and it's free. Hsbc stiffed me though on those deposits and told me they didn't apply after I deposited what I had to. Hsbc sucks so I closed my account with them. Still have C1.

I got the $400 bonus when it was available and it was a pain to get Capitalone to add that on my acct even though I added the promo code during account creation. Never banking with them again..
