This is for new member only, and you get the $45 at the cs desk at time of activation. Take a screenshot or printout of activation code and gc code.

New member = not a member within last 6 months. A way to bypass this is alternate between yourself and significant other/family member as primary and use a different email.

anyway, can we still use our expired account email for new sams sign up? i am talking about 3 years expired. will they still honor it? in the old days, i had to call in to request them for the old account removal before i could use my email again for the new customer signup.

You will have to go to store to get the physical card and gift card. Your id has been activated to do online shopping but they will need to see photo ID to give you membership ID and gift card deal is until today 6/30 so you better check in today to get it.

Today 6/30 I went to the La Habra, CA Sams club. The membership person said to show her the promo. I didn't have my phone on me. She refused. I requested politely she ask her manager. She said manager will say the same thing. I politely asked again to ask manager. She called him. Came back and completed my application, gave me a membership card, my gift card which I used right after to get a full tank of gas at Sams gas station which was $3.72/g. Cheaper than $4.09 in my area. Thanks OP! First time Sams member here!

Just to give an update..went in today and the associate at the help desk was able to give me the 45$card with the same code..looks like a training issue rather than a coupon code one
