"Remaining $120 will be credited to your account and applied to second and third month service unless used on other eligible service or features. Credit will be lost if service is canceled."
So if you downgrade the plan, you can use that credit for a cheaper cell plan. Which the lowest would be $30? I think. So maybe it's actually $210?
When you downgrade from $60 to $30, the additional $30 would also be credited to your account. So, you have a total of $150 credits after downgrade
No port required

What does this mean?
Can't figure out how to get around adding my number.
Nevermind. I'm a little off today. 😄
When selecting the phone there are 2 tabs under it. One says bring number and the other says need new number. The same discount will apply. One says bring number discount, the other says iPhone discount.

According to the deal description under "about this product/service", you need to wait 2-month before downgrade:
"…You may switch to any other lower-priced service plan once your first 2 months of prepaid service on the $60 unlimited plan ends…"
Interesting math for existing Cricket customers. $150 in credits added to primary line after $30 spend on this new line. Return phone to Apple for $200 GC. Rinse & repeat twice? Basically, with the $400 GC, you can get an unlocked iPhone SE straight from Apple with $300 in credit to your primary Cricket line. Am I missing something here?

I don't think this will apply to existing account unless you call them and they would be willing to merge these line(s) with existing. The deal shows either port in OR get new number, there's no option to keep the old one.

question: in approach 2, if you cancel the additional line, how do you/can you request for unlock after 6 months?
