I have had the wired version for about a year and a half now and love it. It's my third Razer mouse in 22 years. I've heard that their QC has had issues over the years, but I've gone through one Corsair and two Logitech mice in less than half amount of time for work.
Quote from PseudoChris :
Have owned for a year and used for work and gaming. Not a single issue so far and no red flags in terms of wear.

Only thing to note is sometimes it helps to clean the charging contacts on the base for a better connection. (Q-tip and alcohol does wonders)
thank you for your inputs. my basilisk x hyperspeed lasted a little over a year and then developed double clicking issues. i've had wired deathadders that lasted anywhere between 6mo-1yr. i guess i'm looking for something that'll last longer than that, especially at a premium price point. getting tired of giving razer my money.

It appears that this "members pricing" special is either only 1 per order or 1 per account. For example, if you add 2 vipers to your cart, you will note that the first is $76 but the second is $85.

Has anyone who has purchased the Viper (or any other item with "members pricing") gone back in to see if they can get another item with that extra discount? Any info appreciated.

BTW, I love my Viper. It's become my go-to lightweight mouse for Overwatch after going through the g903, g305, and G Pro Wireless.

Happy Gaming!

In for 1. I have the Basilisk. I think this may suit my smaller hands

Razer is known for a brand that looks sleek but lacks quality. I would stick to Corsair/Logitech

It's for fingertip or claw grip with medium or large hands. This mouse is too wide for small hands, and there's no hump on the back, so palm grip with any size hands would be uncomfortable. I've owned mine for a little over a year, and it's the best mouse I've ever had. I have very large hands, and had to change from palm grip to fingertip grip when I got it, which I now prefer.

I had 2 Razer mouses, and unfortunately both of them ended in double click issue. Corsair/Logitech may be not fancy, but the quality is solid.

Make sure you're using isopropyl not ethanol for cleaning contacts

I have the white one and I couldn't be happier. I'm tempted to get this as a backup though the optical switches on this might mean I won't need to replace it in a long time

Same price on Amazon ($85 with dock) or $71 without.

Also, it should be noted this is likely the original version NOT the recently released Version 2, which has improved build quality and improved switches.

Thanks for the input. I've read that the optical switches were supposed to prevent that issue but i guess that's not necessarily the case. With my luck it'll prob happen to me as well.

The only long term mouse I've owned reliably is the MX master (3+years and still going). I'd be more willing to pay more for quality/longevity but have yet to find one for gaming.

Honestly at this point, I'm just looking for something that'll last. Don't care if it's shaped like my balls.
I've had my Steelseries Rival 310 for 3 years now and I've not had a single issue, so I was looking at their wireless mice offerings and seems they have a new one called the Prime Wireless that looks intriguing. Not many reviews out for it yet though and at $130 it is a bit pricey to jump on for me. May be something to consider if you are just looking for a quality mouse though

Can't find the v2 version, would it be significantly better?

Model# ‎RZ01-03050100-R3U1 is the same for Best Buy and Amazon

The improvements are enough to make me not buy the original at this point... You can watch some Youtube vids on the improvements, worth gunning for the V2 IMO
