The giant issues to me are not clear in the photos. It has green led that radiates along a clear stop that runs the whole end. Very very bright. So I used electrical tape but really tough to cover.
The toggle switch was also very easy to bump and turn off.
I'd not take one for free.
I bought a replacement that was $15 more expensive but for this case I'd rather not have a SD if it would cause me to get so frustrated with bad design.
Engineering team needs their name on it like Ikea designs. Perhaps then we could avoid the idiots with 7 inch long pretty LED on stuff we want to out under a bed, desk or TV.
No iI want it to be invisible you idiot.
It is a plug not huge blinding green mood light. At least make it clear in the photos!
Yes I've not had my coffee yet... perhaps bad surge protector PTSD
In other words, those warranties do work and personally I got some money out of those warranty (about 1/5 of what I paid for the TV 5 years prior), and if you just have a $500 TV and your xbox connected to it, whatever money I got back was worth more than the $10-15 more I spent on a Belkin.

What did you buy that was more expensive. have been looking for a decent one. Most of them have bad ratings and joules that are way too low/basically useless for what I would like to plug into them. Even the ones I have seen at Costco are useless. It is so frustrating to find one that is not a piece of junk. Arghhh. And, I just had coffee. 😉
