You have to unscrew and readjust the blade so there is "zero gap"

But if you are a beginner. Don't zero gap it cuz you'll cut yourself. 🤕



unless you are talking about the lever to adjust the blade then they wear out over time.
I have a higher end Wahl Professional 5-Star Cord/Cordless Magic Clip #8148 and the lever doesn't start in one place

I bought a cheap set about 10 years ago, similar to this, that is still going strong. Part of me wants to pick this up as a backup but seems pretty unnecessary.

These are horrible. I have had other Wahl products that were great. I bought these and was super disappointed. Adapters are cheep plastic that bend all over the place and clippers pull hair when cutting. Buy something else.

Lol, same. I've got one my mom found on sale circa 2005. It's cut my hair since then all but a handful of times. Keep it oiled and the thing is still doing just fine
