I bought this same set a while back. Tried using the 1" bit to cut "peg board" holes into plywood and it was SUPER slow going. Maybe 40-60 seconds per hole (3/4" plywood). Went and got a Diablo spade bit, with the little corkscrew in the tip, and that thing drilled each hole in less than 10 seconds. Almost all my power tools are Milwaukee because I love their quality, but this spade bit set really misses the mark.
