I picked up the 9-piece Diablo set in store. It did include 9/16 and 11/16.
I needed to bore out 6x6 posts to fasten down some Simpson post-to-beam connectors. The Diablo on my M12 went through wood like Darth went thru Kenobi in New Hope.

Personally I feel like spade bits cut faster and rougher. I like the bigger sizes because it is way more economical than a 1" bit but have to go super slow. These can catch if you go too fast and yank the drill if you are not ready for it.
The entry hall will not be quite so clean and the exit hole will be horribly rough unless you have another piece of wood clamped to the one you are drilling.
I have done ok by using the spade bit for deep drilling (>5") (TWSS) and when I see the tip emerge, switch to a regular sized bit and drill backwards.

Yeah, whenever I see the very tip of my spade start to come out I switch sides and drill into it to keep the exit clean.
Ummm, yeah, solid strategy for wood...
It sure does penetrate fast...
I can't take it anymore.
