Better to buy from Costco when on sale for $99 with two sets of filters. The extra set of filters and the fact that its new makes that a better deal

i bought 2 C535 last time WOOT had them on sale. Both of them were broken or missing pieces.

Don't expect the wifi functionality to work... Many units from previous refurb deals didn't have working wifi. I think you won't get much of a warranty either, so be sure to inspect and try it out for a while... Don't leave it in the box. I forget how long Woot warranties are for, but it's probably something like 30 days or less.

I guess if you need it now and have allergies, this is a decent price. I think it's harder to find good cheap offbrand filters for it though, like you may be able to do for other units. People generally seem to buy the branded filters from Costco when on sale for 30 something dollars.

I got 2 last time this was on a woot sale. One of them the wifi never worked and the 2nd the wifi stopped working a few months later. Not like you really need it. I just set them on auto and let them run.

Otherwise no issues. But like a previous comment said new with 2 sets of filters is a better deal if you don't mind waiting.

It's a C545, which is inferior to the C535. Also, as was stated, Costco's $100 deal includes 2 years of filters AND it's not a used unit

Does the 545 have Wi-Fi and the 535 doesn't?

C545 comes with wifi and C535 no wifi but has a remote.

I have the C545 and did the wifi setup. After using it once I never bother to check on it again. I set it at 2 and let it run 24/7. Got a C535 on its way and likely won't be using the remote either.
