This is not the XL model is the standard model. The Listing and description was for the XL, but the models they listed weren't the XL model. Woot has since updated the descriptions to be accurate description.

The description on the the front page deal needs to be updated so its accurate product description. As right now still reflects the incorrect info.

Definitely go for that as it's brand new and Costco warranty is unbeatable. No brainer spending the extra $20-$30 for that. l actually have this model and the temperature probe is not all it's made out to be, imo. I'm not sure why it doesn't work as well as expected.

It's back up to $189. I can't think of why other stores have a way higher normal price. With the $50 off I should have gotten it but spent too much money this month. Next time.

FYI it is labeled at Costco:

I have the Costco one as well and thats my experience with the temp probe. It's not as accurate as I'd hoped it be. Instead I just rely on the timings that I get used to for things I cook in it after several tries.

I was curious if you have any go-to recipes or things you like to make in yours.

Exactly. And not yet. I just cook whatever I want in it and rely upon my gut instincts lol

So far I like air frying wings, grilling steaks, salmon fillets, and burgers, and racks of ribs. And of course warming up leftovers vs the microwave or toaster oven.

Yes, everything is dishwasher safe and no little weird parts or nooks and crannies. Even the smoke filter is dishwasher safe.

Came today- brand new, never used as far as I can tell. Everything still sealed. Got gold color as I figured it may be less chance of refurb.

How useful/important is the plug-in thermometer on other models of the Ninja Foodie Grill?

And I've noted two sizes, I'm a solo dude who oft cooks enough for +1 and/or leftovers. The large(r) grill seems unneeded for such?

Thanks, in-advance!

It's nowhere near as accurate as you would want it to be. I consider it a gimmick, sadly. and the larger grill isn't needed for what you're doing.

How can I tell if mine is new or not? I got the stainless steel/black color and looks new with the exception of the QR code being marked out on the unit and the exhaust area in the back looks slightly stained. But wondering if all the exhaust area looks like that.
