How is the 2.2 cheaper per ounce? Let me know if I missing anything on the deal. The 2.2 is a decent deal, but 10oz is a good one.

Therefore, I don't rate or purchase based on expired coffee bean experiences. Any bean no matter how expensive will not taste great if 6 months or whatever after the roast date. I recently received the wrong coffee bag the other day that was 1 year past its best by date. I told amazon I got the wrong bean and they said I can keep it. Drank it anyways and its fine for free beans.
If you want great fresh coffee beans every purchase then purchase directly from the coffee roaster themselves to ensure freshness. just my 2 cents
@MatthewS4171, coffee typically doesn't have an "expiration date." Dates like that are typically forced by grocery stores because they don't really want you to know how old a product is since coffee has a relatively short shelf life after roasting. You should look for a roast date if anything... otherwise the coffee is potentially months old. Even whole beans have lost a lot of their flavor within the first 2 months or so (or is it 1 month?), let alone pre-ground.

As a fyi, I just picked up some Dunkin Donuts coffee, 12oz, at Walgreens on sale at $4.99. It's not my go to, but for general sipping this stuff is very tasty.
