A much more reasonable cost for a 3070. Surprising.

Just FYI you'd need to beef up the cooling of this prebuilt. It comes with ONE 92mm fan only

Still cheaper than buying the GPU alone, from scalpers.

Not recently. I seen many 70 and 70tis go for around 1000-1100 now. So if you already have a build that just needs a gpu swap i would go that route, but if you need a new rig this is not a bad option. Keep in mind prices are gonna keep dropping especially when eip hits in a few weeks in july. So if you arent in desperate need of one right now i would hold off.

Alright, they just added $80 ram and marked it up 300 on costco. How does that sound?

Only 500watt power supply
Its a prebuilt...500w is enough to drive a 3070 and 5800x.

Hey, seems like you know your stuff . Do you know if the mother board has display outputs (hdmi, dvi, etc..) beside the graphic card display output ? I'm looking to hook up 5 monitors. Thanks

This is a good price for the cpu. Still not nice enough given the case, cooling and mobo are trash. Would like to see lenovo bring its t5&t7 tower back with amd chips.
Welcome to the world of prebuilts, where most the parts are crap.

Is it still worth buying one for mining? Asking because I've been debating whether to spend the extra to get a good GPU now and mine to offset the cost or just wait it out and spend the lower amount without doing any mining.
At this point probably not. The 3070 will run around 60 Mh/s which would be roughly 80-100 a month. A 3080 can run around 100 Mh/s which is roughly 130-150 a month. I'm running a 3080 and 5700 and depending on the day profits are estimated at 200-300 a month. Today I'm showing $275 month last week was closer to $200. I shouldn't say profit because that doesn't account for electricity.

Edit. Eth mining will probably be done in 6 months or so when 2.0 comes out. There will be other coins to mine but who knows about profibility
