I don't even see a reason to build your own PC anymore with deals like this one. The proprietary ones from Dell and HP were never a consideration for me, but how can you pass on these? You're getting real parts below retail prices AND you're getting a GPU. These newer pre-builts seem to be changing the game because of their access to wholesale prices on higher quality parts that actually have an upgrade path. It just seems economically pointless to build your own these days.

i never tried lower it down more, i have to test it. thats my first try.. will try your settings.

Just an fyi you can turn on the tmp 2.0 on in the bios it's not listed as tmp 2.0 I forgot what the name is in the bios but it's not labeled as tmp2.0 so you won't need to buy the module you can just enable it in bios to make it compatible with windows 11.

You get losers like this any time mining is brought up. Some people just live miserable lives and have to take out their frustrations on others.

I make over $200 a day (including electricity) mining. Broke even months ago but I'll add some more 3070s to the rig!

Just wondering if you run your rig 24/7 ? I am new to this and suppose if I am just trying to experiment/run it for 8 hours a day, 7 days per week, will the effort be all worth it ?

I have dedicated open air rigs. Nothing that special just a motherboard with 6-8 Pcie ports and some risers and a fan to blow cool air over them all.

Inside a PC case with one graphic card like this 3070 you could make $3-5 a day.

Download quick miner from Nicehash and you can just click one icon and walk away. When you are ready to game, close it out.

Personally I would take the side off the case to help with cooling. The card is going to run well within normal temps if you do that. Gaming heats up the cards more than proper mining setups.

Pretty similar as far as I can tell. The Ryzen 5 5600X is slightly faster (3.7 GHz vs 3.6) and newer (2020 vs 2019), but the Ryzen 7 3700X has more cores (8 cores / 16 threads vs. 6/12).

I doubt there's much of a difference in real world use. Personally, I'd go with this deal because I trust the name brand and support a little more, and returns are easier at Best Buy. But either one seems like a decent deal with the current market.

my gtx 760 died and i can't bring myself to shell out for these overpriced cards or prebuilt systems. i wish i had bought a gtx 1070 back in the day when they not only always had stock, but they would go on sale for as low $400

damn being an unemployed student at that time
