This phone reached End Of Life last year in December. Please read this article before you decided to purchase a device that doesn't get any updates or bug fixes.

FYI.
Pixel 1 and Pixel 2/2xl do not work on Visible Wireless. It's a known issue.
Can get data, but no voice or MMS even with the correct APN settings.
I just picked up an unlocked 2xl from WOOT, and Visible Wireless is a no-go.

The model number is GA00138-US which is the US factory unlocked 128 GB black model, so it should be possible to unlock the bootloader. Only the Verizon variants of the Pixels have permalocked bootloaders.

Interesting and FWIW, support period for Pixel 2s ended October 2020, and Pixel 3s are just months away. No more guaranteed OS or security updates. Buying a top phone with end-of-the-line software support give me pause—even at this price.

Lineage OS 18.1 and Pixel Experience ROMs will get you Android 11 and monthly updates (with built-in update app) for the Pixel 2XL. I bought one recently refurbished from another vendor and it had around 85% of the original battery capacity.

There are plenty of small point and shoot cameras around this price point if you don't mind carrying around another electronic device. However any camera will always have an advantage since after all it is basically a camera with a dedicated zoom len and additional photo effects built in. If you need to do any additional photo editing, google photos is free and has several photo editing features which are fast and convenient. No they did not. It was $250 for the 3 XL and $130 for the 3.

Good price. I sidegraded to the 4a for the headphone jack. Gave the 2XL to a friend, it's still chugging along. Didn't have the screen issue. Was gonna ditch Google after the poor battery of the Huawei manufactured 6P, but dang the 2XL was and is solid

For those wondering about the non-existent continuance of guaranteed updates from Google for this phone, there is always the option of sideloading or flashing a custom ROM on the phone which could provide better longevity to those whom this may concern. However, through and through as solid as this phone was and is, its an older model but obviously here we are on slickdeals where value, saving our precious money and utilizing it to the best of our abilities is the priority here!

Loved my pixel 2. Lasted 4 years until the battery started expanding and pushing the screen off. Just switched to gs21...Wanted to hold out until pixel 6 but couldn't wait. That said, I wouldn't get this. No more updates or security patches coming to the pixel 2.
