This phone reached End Of Life last year in December. Please read this article before you decided to purchase a device that doesn't get any updates or bug fixes.

FYI.
Pixel 1 and Pixel 2/2xl do not work on Visible Wireless. It's a known issue.
Can get data, but no voice or MMS even with the correct APN settings.
I just picked up an unlocked 2xl from WOOT, and Visible Wireless is a no-go.

The model number is GA00138-US which is the US factory unlocked 128 GB black model, so it should be possible to unlock the bootloader. Only the Verizon variants of the Pixels have permalocked bootloaders.

It's not getting any security updates anymore. Though it was a really great phone, I'm not sure why anyone should buy this as it no longer will receive any software updates whatsoever.

Thanks, was seriously thinking of selling my unopened Moto Power and grabbing this Pixel 2 XL. Looks like they'll both end on Android 11. I'm sure the Power's camera is junk but I can probably live with it.

Does this have VoLTE? Can't seem to find any info on this. Would like to use this on Tello and they said it needs to have VoLTE to work-- in particular bands 2, 4, 12, 66, 71 + VoLTE. If this phone doesn't have it, any slickdeal phones that would?

This phone will get Android 11. Once you receive it, update the system. I'm not promoting this phone, because I don't like the LG's P-OLED screen on this phone.

This phone is missing the band 71 and another band which I'd like to have. From Pixel 3 on-ward, the Pixel phones come with all the LTG bands (4G bands) in the world.

I don't get all the hate. This will still outperform budget phones in the same price range. Has a 1440p screen a pretty decent camera. As for EOL and no updates, Tbh people who are spending this much probably don't care that much. Great phone for the price hands down if this is what you can afford.
