Nope, can't play without subscription. Hopefully the games we want from game pass will be super cheap, once our $35 a year for Ultimate deal ends. $10-$15 a month isn't worth it to me.

Well they make money off of selling concessions, 🎟tickets, airtime etc...

A sad sports gamer at home doesn't make a dime...a preteen or teen, or hell an adult with a gambling problem 😕 will keep spinning the wheel just one more time for a tiny fraction of a percent to get that elusive player..

This game is more akin to going to Vegas or Atlantic City, there are laws against anyone under 18 going in and there should be laws against loot boxes or "Surprise Mechanics" as the lawyer types prefer we say they are in these games.

Yeah, for him to play at home by himself or with friends it's a great buy.
Don't listen to the "pro-gamers" on here shitting on the game, sure it's not perfect, but for a kid who loves soccer it's the best game in the world.
For $10 it's a pretty good deal especially since this is the latest version and the next one won't come out for another 3 months.
FYI they release these yearly, so if he likes it you can pick it up usually for around $30 around black Friday or wait around until this time next year and it'll probably be around this price again.
