Similar model #s of this TV have been below the $300 price point many times in the past. Additionally this is an in-store only deal where price and inventory vary by store.

It's really not a bad deal, people just expect price to be the same as what you could get last Nov / Dec. Based on what we saw on Prime Day this is an OK deal. Just depends how long you want to wait for a better YMMV discount or BF.

I'm sure it's at least better than whatever series of the 55" TCL's we got for $148 on BF last year, and I'm super pleased with it. At first disappointed in black levels and motion handling compared to my old plasma, but the more I watch the more it's grown on me
Wish I'd gotten a couple now.

I'm sure it'll be fine.

Its a good deal based on current pricing of 55" TV's. A friend of mine bought one around prime day. It's a good TV and I have a 50" 4 series myself from 2019.

I'm sure prices will drop again around Black Friday but right now this is a good price if you need to get one right away.
