Came across this on CamelCamelCamel. From what i recall the EVGA supernova stuff is nice. Would jump on it if I was in need, sadly not. Also trying really hard not to hoard PC parts.

Bought it on b stock for 45 thinking what a fantastic deal. Worked for 30 minutes and kaput. At least it didn't damage anything but @ $20 per RMA shipping I'm only doing it once (1 yr warranty on evga b stock also the clever fellas).
Got lucky and used a evga 600w white that goes on sale here from BB often and it lasted 5-6 years so I'm not too worried about any psu not being from a top tier manufacturer. With all the deals everyone who checks SD and needed a PSU probably has an EVGA somewhere haha
I got the GA 550w for $40. 3 more years warranty, manual switch for eco mode, and a properly oriented fan.
Why's wrong with having auto-eco? And what fan fan orientation problem that I could not notice by looking at the pics?
Glad I upgraded in late 2019 when I kinda thought my previous build was still good enough.
I should get an upgrade soon...
The GA with the manual switch means eco can be turned off and the fan ramps up accordingly.

I got the ga version last week from Amazon for $55. No eco mode correct? When did you get it for $40?
There is also a GQ for $45 and a G+ for $60. To say that I am confused as to what to go with is a massive understatement.
