Lowes is having a clearance on quite a few toilets. There is a thread on one already (noted below) but I thought I'd start a separate thread on some others I noticed. As with all clearance items in Lowes it's in store only and the price varies a lot from one store to the next. I guess they are making room for the 2022 models.

Here's a list of a few I spotted with the lowest price I saw in my area.

Just planning for next bathroom project. I bought the one below for $69.67. I figured for this price (normal price is $280) it can sit in the garage for a few months until I'm ready:

One local store has a lot of the American Standard toilets, but still at list price. I picked up a Penguin for $65 and will see how it works. Personally, I don't have much luck with these energy saving models that require two or three flushes to move the waste product on out to the main sewage line.

Toilet prices are ridiculous. You can find toilets at whatever price point you want and, as long as you are just looking at basic functions, there really isn't much difference between them. Now if you are talking about toilets with bidets or other extra functions, sure there is a difference and the prices can be justified but for most normal flushing toilets the wide range in pricing is ridiculous.

Scanning the product barcode from the shelf in the store using the Lowes app, I was able to get American Standard item 661097 from 279 down to clearance price 88.67. It would still scan regular price when checking out at registers. But employee asked me to show her how was it I was getting that clearance price. Once we went back to the shelf and I showed her, they adjusted the price.

What's the best toilet if you already have a bidet seat? Obviously the one Jacuzzi don't work, but my old American Standard (which looks identical to the first link here) made the seat about 1/2 inch off from the front. Is there something specific I should be looking for?
