For what it's worth I've bought some stuff from Aukey and been pleased with it. Didn't get any discounts/free product (but that's exactly what a shill would say).

One distinction that I think has to be made is just because we call a product "shilled" doesn't necessarily mean it's bad quality. It's a cut throat business and sellers have been offering free GC for years, I guess that WSJ article was too big to ignore and amazon had to do something.
I hope these sellers are allowed back on the marketplace at some point, competition is always good for customers.
Wait now you're just being a shill shill!
Yep I almost picked it up but the reviews were both terrible

I have ravpower, anker, and aukey and they all have been great. Anker has failed a couple of times, but their warranty has been great
I've been on the hunt for a USB-C hub and theirs seems fully-featured for less than $25 with this discount. Anyone ever use it and know if it can do 4k@60hz?
I own this USB hub and use it as a docking station for my work laptop. It's hooked up to my 4k monitor with HDMI and it works well. Love the Ethernet and USB-C connection too.
Thanks for your response! Could you check if it does 4k at 60HZ?
(Right-click on desktop and click on "display properties" or something of the sort if you're on Windows)
Thank you!! 😇
