It's mid tier. Good go game storage not for OS. Also no dram. So gets slow if you get the drive near capacity

Was trying to post yesterday's BB deal at $105, but I couldn't find any info on the normal price. I don't think it sells for $230 anywhere. This deal is better of course. Says it ends in 12.5 hours (midnight CDT).

that is how I am using mine. Great for fast transfer. But of course you would need a fast enclosure.

I only have older motherboards without any available Gen 3 x4 or M.2/NVMe slots. All I have available are SATA/600 or USB 3.0 ports.

From what I could see, there are many types of adapters to connect this SSD to a SATA/600 or USB 3.0 port. Problem is there are so many different adapters at different prices and you can't trust Amazon's fake reviews, I have no idea which one to buy.

I have some soon-expiring Best Buy reward certificates which I would've used on this if I could use it to replace my 256 GB SATA/600 SSD.

Any advice/suggestions or should I just wait until there's a deal on a SATA/600 compatible SSD?

No. Microsoft uses a proprietary drive. Seagate makes it and runs about 220. Won't work for ps5 either. Too slow and Sony hasn't announced compatible drives yet
