Always apply for Chase cards first. Citi has no 5/24 but Chase does.

CSP is a much better card, folks here must've already got the bonus.

Can they expedite the card or provide digital card/id so I can use it in the next few days?

Just spoke to customer service about expediting my new card. The rep told me it would arrive 7-10 business days. Yes, I saw that on the web site. She transferred me to another department and it was the automated system. Couldn't get anything done. Had I know service is this bad, I wouldn't have bothered applying for a new account.

Which credit bureau does Citi use? That way I can unfreeze that credit before I apply.

Just apply, it said, sorry we can't approve your stuff due to a freeze from experian.

You have 16 mins to unfreeze it, then when you do. Hit "continue, I unfroze" it tries again on spot

Atleast for my application it did

Double cash $35,000 spend = $700 cash back any category

Citi premier $4,000 spend = 92,000 points if spending on x3 points categories (grocery, gas, travel, restaurants)

I think I made my mind
your math is WAYYYYYYY off...

I think they do for existing card holders, but I could be wrong.

You can convert 80,000 to 800 dollars cash via mortgage payment.
1. Choose mortgage payment option in rewards, they have number to call.
2. Call the number.
3. Tell them you want to redeem for mortgage payment.
4. Ask for check payable to your bank. Chase worked for me.
5. Once check comes deposit via bank app to your account.
Then pay your mortgage or do whatever you want with it...
Chase 100% works. Other banks you have to try not sure.

Are you taking about Citi? Why wouldn't you just request online a direct deposit, cash in your bank in 2 days.

They only offer check for mortgage payment. That's the only way i can see to fully convert 80k points to 800 cash.

Looks like Citi just devalued its points. In June, I saw 1 pt = 1 cent for direct deposit or check. Now 1 pt = 0.5 cent for direct deposit or check.
