I think maybe you called the wrong number the first time? Either that or the dude at the call center read from the wrong script. LMAO

Nah, was the same number. The first number I called was the one provided in the letter. The woman's only question was to verify my phone number. She came back confirming my denial.

The 1 (800) 695-5171 reconsideration number confirmed a "cell phone porting criteria" verification problem.

The second time I called 1 (800) 695-5171, the SD woman said the first two (and the initial hand review) people all messed up

In any case, Citi seems to have a few issues

Just a heads up. I got my card on Wednesday. It's been frozen now 5 different times trying to make purchases. I call them, they unfreeze it, get one purchase, and they freeze it on the next.

Same as Costco card. Additional 2 years of warranty. Even if original warranty is only, for example, 3 months, this card will add 2 years on top of the original 3 months.

Thank you. Does it cover refurbished item or items bought from third party through sites like eBay ?

I've had difficulty getting purchase through as well. Calling in to get ahold of someone also sucks.

I surprisingly got a $4k purchase to get through this week and will be done with this card once bonus comes in

If it's new OR refurb and comes with a manufacturers warranty when sold to you it should be covered.

Seller doesn't matter (unless the manufacturer conditions there being a warranty on who the seller is)

See below

Quote from Citi benefits guide :
Coverage does not apply to the following items:
Boats, cars, aircraft, or any other motorized land, air or water
vehicles and their original equipment. Tires are not covered.
Services (such as product installation, repairs, maintenance or
diagnostics) unless covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
Used, antique or pre-owned items.
Land or buildings; housing properties.
Plants and live animals.
Items that do not come with a manufacturer's warranty.

I don't even see the Prestige being available anymore, did they discontinue it or perhaps are refreshing it? Anyways, I'm moving away from ThankYou points and moving to Amex's ecosystem.
Or build up inventory of different currencies on hand Smilie

I'm sort of done with Chase, due to time out measures on their side. Now doing Amex. Citibank is next, possibly Citicards.

I recently got this card, and CITI has been pretty annoying.

The card got locked during a large transaction. To get it unlocked CITI had to speak with my bank and verify a ton of information.

The card is working now, but never had to jump through so many hoops.

19 pages, it must have been answered, but i checked my citi Thankyou points
Conversion rate to cash back or statement credit is 1 TYP to .5 cent, so 8000 points is $400
Also no costco or amazon gift card shown. I see bestbuy as the one i would use most

Depends which Citi card you have. Some at 1:1, some are not.
