How do i confirm I have not opened/closed this card in last 24 months ? Citi customer service is unable to confirm me exact date when i had this card product changed in the past.

Download credit karma app and go to accounts tab. It's free to use. It shows closed accounts and the closed date.
I have this card and the Chase one and I can confirm you can get a statement credit on a 1:1 basis through the Thankyou portal, similar to how Chase does it.
I got this card a month ago, hit the $4k requriement in the first month and got the 80K points and was able to redeem them for an $800 statement credit which is as good as cash.
Seeing a lot of different answers in this thread and can confirm its a 1:1 from points to cents so this deal is worth a minimum of $800 guaranteed. The airline points aren't worth it because im seeing too many issues with travel right now.
hey webdoctors, Quick question before I apply, do you know of any sites that award/pay to apply via them like cashback sites or cash-o-holic etc.
2nd: I see the below disclaimer in Citi, I only have their Custom cash card recently, I assume I will be okay getting the points?

Bonus ThankYou® Points are not available if you received a new cardmember bonus for Citi Rewards+®, Citi ThankYou® Preferred, Citi ThankYou® Premier/Citi Premier® or Citi Prestige®, or if you have closed any of these accounts, in the past 24 months.
I just got approved for the Citi Custom Cash last week. I doubt I will be approved again for another card in a short period of time from Citi. FICO 825, 3% utilization, 15 years of average age of credit.
But you get 300$ worth to travel each year, so 250$ left in fee, correct?
Yup-- plus CSR has the $100 GE credit, Priority pass with 2 free guests, free roadside assistance, free primary rental car insurance, 50% higher point value via the chase travel portal, etc...
Thanks OP. My application went pending but called their support line (1-800-695-5171) right after applying. they verified my information and got approved. i guess i bought a new house and used my new address, it might cause the issue. credit limit was quite low compare to some of my cards has 40K with chase. got approved for $4200 only, which is ok because i will cancel once I'm done with the promo. 825 score and one card in the last 24 months.

825 if you spend 4k in grocery stores
I am on same situation. Did you apply?
I got denied too with an 815 credit score. Reason was that I'm not using enough of my available credit. Very odd.
