Does anyone know if this card gives you instant access like some other credit cards do? I have a 2k purchase I need to make Friday so I was thinking of getting this. But not sure if it gives you the number and expiration on the page when they approve you.

Can someone that did it let me know please?
You won't able to do that. They are very slow in sending card. Have been waiting for 8 days so far.

This is humiliating (understandable) I got approved for $3000. My first card with Citi in 2011 was $3500. That was my first ever credit card in the USA.

Reasons:
I recently bought a home in Dec 2020.
My other two Citi credit cards have limits $22000 and $11000. I've used close to $27500 for balance transfers.

But damn, just $3000?

I still have to open a credit card for CSP.
Citi gave me an American Airlines card with a $20,000 limit, then less than a year later gave me a $4,500 limit on my Premier. It happens.

Where do you get the # and expiration date? I applied having logged into my existing Citibank website account, and I still don't see it. Help. I have a big charge I need to make soon.
I currently don't have that information for my card, either. Within a week of getting approved, I was able to link my Citi Premier card to my existing Citi account. Sorry, I don't remember all the specific steps. I was just hopping around my Citi account and I think I saw a Link Card option somewhere.

But once my Premier card was linked to my account, I could then add the card to Apple Wallet, Amazon, PayPal, and Click to Pay (I think that's a MasterCard service). I'm getting errors adding it to Apple Wallet, but I was just able to add it to my PayPal with no issues. I haven't tried the other 2. I don't know if this matters, but I did the above through my Citi mobile app.

Again, I still don't have my full card number and expiration date, but I was able to add it to my PayPal without that info. Hope this helps.

Go to the ThankYou rewards portal then Cash section -- select statement credit or direct dep or check

In the app you might have to select Gift Cards to take you to the rewards portal

I was a little worried about not qualifying given some of the comments on here, but to my surprise I got it, credit limit of $7000.

My credit score is about 800

I have 2 recent credit card applications, one about 11 months ago, another about 5 months ago (chase and US Bank).

No, you won't get the card number and expiration date upon approval. I applied last week so I'm still waiting for the card to arrive. You may be able to add it to Apple Wallet before receiving the card, but I ran into an issue trying to do that so I'm just gonna sit tight. I might try adding it to PayPal, but I'm not in a rush right now.
Thanks for the info. I have a city Costco card and it allows me through the app to add it to Amazon so maybe this will. I applied and was approved but it hasn't yet shown on my account.

Another follow-up question if anyone knows, how long after the 4k in purchases will the 80k points be added? I hear they're allowing you to transfer to American airlines until Nov 13th. Hope I can get them before then. I need to purchase a flight soon.

Yes I was able to successfully add it to amazon and PayPal, but Apple Pay didn't work. I called and they didn't have any luck either, and said I'd just have to wait til it arrived to add it to apple (which I've since been able to do). It does take a bit to get it in the mail though. I think mine was between 7-10 days.

Ok so I linked it to PayPal and tried to make a purchase. They denied to for fraud called there fraud department they said they unlocked it to try again. Tried again blocked. Called again she wanted to send me a letter in the mail to verify lol talked with supervisor they hung up on me.
This company is Trash lol. I guess I'll wait for a the card and hurry and get the 80k points and take them all and cancel the card. So frustrating. How many times do I need to call the fraud department.

Just going to close it in a year, what's the difference? You'd need to spend $3200 at restaurants/travel a year just to break even on this (the hotel credit is worthless). Not really worth keeping

Just got denied for this - 800+ credit. Already have 2 CCs with Citi for over 10 years. Very strange.
