To people complaining they don't keep the liquid cold/cool for hours, you should be drinking a bottle an hour on the bike anyway (sometimes more) so they should be drained before the liquid gets warm. Besides, warm water is better than no water.

I bought two of these the last time it was on sale and neither of them were part of the recall. It's very quick and easy to check.
They're as good as it gets for a plastic bottle though. They're better than the polar bottles. If you fill them with ice and cold water you can stretch about 2 hours out of them. I've tried a ton a bottles trying to find a lightweight insulated bottle which can stand up to 110+ desert heat. Your next option is a HydroFlask Trail, but they get too hot to touch in the desert or an insulated hydration bladder, which is the best option, but a lot of people don't like wearing them.
Would you happen to know of the best insulated hydration bladders?
I have a Geigerrig which is "insulated" at certain parts but not sure if i would call it insulated. Really i only like mine because of being able to pressurize the bladder.

Keep in mind that these are plastic water bottles made for use with road bike water bottle cages, *not* double-wall vacuum stainless insulated water bottles. They're drastically better than the plain plastic water bottles you get from a bike shop, but they'll never be as good as the metal hydroflask style ones.
