I ordered Costco Klipsch system with $50 coupon, which put the price down to $749. Still I need to buy R-12SW, which costs around 189 or more...
I don't think I need an extra warranty through costco this time.. will cancel and order this one.

You need a receiver to be able to amplify and connect devices to these speakers. You will not be able to utilize any of these speakers without a receiver. The set being sold here is the "5.1.2" in case you were wondering.

It does not include speaker wire. I recommend you get a wire stripper, if you don't have one.

I have this exact same setup except I have two subs. Receiver I went for was Denon X2700H. Overall I'm very happy Smilie audyssey microphone calibration is a must and makes a huuuuge difference.

You can always add more speakers to the set to make 9.2.2, assuming your receiver can support the additional speakers.
