This monitor is identical to the (now discontinued) Monoprice 34in Dark Matter. I have both, and they are identical side by side, color, stand, etc.
You can also get additional savings by signing up (I received a 10% off code).

I just bought after waiting a week for that 15% off coupon to be sent to me. They tried 3% instantly on Monday. The next day they sent a 10% code. On the third day, Wednesday, they reverted down and sent me a 5% code... then silence on Thursday and Friday. So for me it was a 6 day wait. FYI for anyone else.

Unsure why others aren't pointing out there is NO SALES TAX for anyone and no CA monitor fee, which makes the deal even sweeter.

$323 shipped is an insane price. If I bought on Amazon it would have been $421 shipped, almost $100 off even the sale price.
Yeah. This was a great deal and enjoying the monitor.

Update: This shipped today and got an order confirmation from Beach Camera. Which is prety decent business. Interesting how they market and process the logistics of all this stuff. They also sell on their site the $379.99 price, but with tax is the same as Amazon.. and of course no discount code.

Follow-up:
Okay, I was able to answer my own question regarding if this was better than the Alienware aw3418dw - This monitor is better. In every metric.

Not only is it 144hz without an Over Clock its also completely stable. The aw3418dw is 100hz with 120hz OC and that 120hz OC Mode apparently hit or miss depending on random chance if you won the monitor lottery.

This monitor is edge lit just like the aw3418dw, but has less light bleed by far. That's on top of the fact no one sees or cares about that while actually using the monitor.

This gen VA is better than last gens IPS.

I won't be suggesting anything, but this monitor for the foreseeable future.

Thanks OP, this looks like a pretty good deal on paper esp. due to no sales tax. Only got 3% off but bought one anyway since I need a new monitor ASAP. It's now on Amazon for the same price also so may be worth updating the original post.

Can anyone else confirm if this is actually the same thing as the Monoprice Dark Matter 34? Monoprice advertises 400 nits and Quantum Dot vs 350 nits on this. Refresh rate is also different

I love my 34" Dark Matter. I would get a second one (or this) if I had the desk space.

This is the only one I've found so far: https://youtu.be/jz8Agh7j8II

I'm going to be getting mine today so I can share some first impressions or try to answer questions

Ok so I got the monitor today. I'm not really a photo editor or much of an intense gamer, so these are just my first impressions from a standard productivity/casual use perspective without any tweaks to the out of box settings.

Pros:
-no dead or stuck pixels
-colors look great to me
-can easily see monitor even in a well lit room with sunlight hitting the screen
-no issues with scaling on windows

Cons:
-build quality leaves a little to be desired. The monitor sort of leans to one side when suspended from the stand. Will probably be getting a monitor arm.
-awful ghosting when scrolling on dark screens. The laptop I use (ASUS G14) has a lot of complaints online about its screen having ghosting problems. This monitor is at least 10x worse than that. I guess maybe that's normal with these VA panels? Not sure.
-warmer discoloration on left side of panel, especially bottom left corner. Not really distracting most of the time, but definitely noticeable on grey backgrounds (not very uniform greys basically). Maybe someone else can chime in here and let me know if this is normal for VA panels.

I'm going to see if the uniformity on my panel is within expected bounds, and return it if not. Will try to update thread once I get a chance to play around with settings more also.

So I spent some time on Reddit and white and grey uniformity seems to be a common problem with budget ultrawides. Not really much you can do other than just hope for the best in the panel lottery. My eyes have sort of adjusted to it anyway and I don't really pay attention to it now unless I try to notice it.

Ghosting is still awful when scrolling on black or dark grey, no amount of settings changes made it better. Reddit says that this too is a common issue with these cheaper VA panels, so I'm not too worried about it now. Most of the time it's not noticeable and someone who's not sensitive to ghosting might not even realize it.

Didn't get a chance to try Freesync yet, I don't really game much. I noticed that the curve isn't uniform yesterday, so that's another minor build quality concern.

Some people said this is the same as the Monoprice Dark Matter 34 but this thing doesn't have speakers so I'm fairly sure it's not. Most likely using the same Samsung panel though along with the other non-LG ultrawides in this price range

I know you DMed, but I'll reply here, so others benefit from my assessment.

The images I uploaded seem like a not so humble brag, but I'm trying to imbue a sense of, I know wtf I'm talking about.

My DecoGear unit pretty much shows decent uniformity through the range except for the edges. That is completely in-line with edge lit ultra-wides I have owned, Including a Lenovo, urlhasbeenblocked and Alienware. There is very low amount of grey uniformity "clouding" and the light edge bleed is lower than all my other monitors. If I had to nit-pick the color uniformity, it would be only because its an ultra-wide and I'm not looking at it dead center. That is to say, I am looking at it dead center. If you aren't positioned center of an ultra-wide, then you can obviously expect color shift.

As previously stated the image is better than my Alienware which is IPS, not just because the blacks are actually black. I color calibrate all my monitors and this things is great.

Now I say all this, but my tolerances for perfection are not the highest of high. If it looks good while I game then I don't care. I also use this for my work monitor and have no issue with ghosting. It does not seem to be an issue any greater than any other monitor I own.

So.... if you are sitting dead center and shit seems off, not just from left to right, but left actually is different than right then you might have a bad monitor. If left and right look the same, but the center is off... its likely completely normal.

I really appreciate all the extra info you took the time to write out! I got the monitor coming but this will be the first monitor in a long time i'll be using the Displayport over HDMI.. What cable are you using if you don't mind me asking? I could have sworn I read somewhere the included cable is not very good which isn't surprising.
