Tried it yesterday. Pictures looks good. But it looks like the picture panel and the backlight got some spaces between each other.

Anyone get two of these as a dual monitor? Would it be smart getting 2 or is that just overkill if you'd mainly be using 1 for gaming and the other for work.
I got 2!

Would this be good for a second monitor for my design computer? Just basically to have web and other Windows up
It maybe an overkill if you want a side monitor to simply have the web on. You wouldn't need 165hz refresh rate at least. Not sure about the 2K resolution as compared to a more traditional 1080p, but that may depend on your line of work.

Can PC gamers actually use this that close? Or is this for pc gamers or console gamers using controllers?
About pull the trigger on a 27" Viewsonic 1440p that is $250. Crazy this is even cheaper.
I game on my PC, but I'm not hardcore...so I don't know what I should truly be looking for. I went from a 32" 1080 LG monitor to this one and it's been phenomenal. There's been a pleasant jump in crispness, plus this one is HDR capable so lighting in games is AMAZING. I actually can't imaging gaming with anything smaller at this point.

I use controller more than mouse/keyboard so maybe I'm half a foot farther than someone leaning over the desk. But I also have this monitor mounted on an arm...so I could bring in back/forth if the distance was wrong. Personally I'd go for the LG over the Viewsonic...mostly because I'm biased towards the companies that actually make the panels. I've had mine for a month and it's been great...it's made me enthused about playing games more even.

Was tempted to buy the 32 inch LG from Best buy until I saw this.

My issue is that too many say 32 is too much for PC gaming.

I game on 27 at 1080p with my 5700xt graphic card.

My debate is going to 32 at 1440p or getting a 27 1440p.

My PC can handle 1440p so it's either 27 or 32? Advice?
i had 27' ips 165hz and I switch to this one, I dont like this VA panel cause its view angle but it's brightness and color is exellent!

How is the color on this screen? And how is the HDR?

Don't know what type of games you play but I do RPGs, warhammer, CIV6, Witcher etc. basically everything but first person shooters. I currently run a 1440p 35 in curved and have no problems for PC gaming). I bought this monitor to have as a "TV" to watch while I game . I'm running out of desk space but gaming is great on big monitors. Again, I don't do competitive first person shooters which is the only reason I see for going 27 or smaller.
