Eh? I don't even remember reading anyone saying that. It's usually the salt content they complain about.
They're instant noodles. Don't eat them if you care about health.
Better than .20 cent ramen.

Objectively worse than the non-cup version of the same product.

Oooo! Fun. In before a bunch of people come in to complain about how this product can't possibly be any better than the Ramen you get at Costco for 20 cents per. Anyone got any popcorn for ensuing debate?

If only the Black version would be this cheap.

Also why is it so hard to find my other favorite noodle bowl on Amazon, Nissin "Hot And Spicy" with Shrimp... they're always in stock at the grocery stores but they're out of stock on Amazon. Nissin Hot And Spicy have f***ing AMAZING flavor and are dirt cheap at the grocery store too, like 85 cents. And they have less sodium than most others which is good.

Another really good one I highly recommend is the Soon Vegan Kimchi bowl by Nongshim. I'm not vegan and I'm not even generally crazy about Kimchi(at least the cold kimchi at restaurants I've tried) but those bowls have a delicious flavor with a nice little spicy kick to them, and the kimchi in the hot soup actually tastes decent.

I've been too addicted to all these spicy instant noodles lately. lol I should cut back on eating these.

This is my favorite brand, I have tried a variety of flavors (not tried the black yet).
These cups are convenient since they are paper compared to Styrofoam, you can microwave them safely... They are fairly small, good for a snack or small lunch. Great to add left over vegetables and meats to.

Costco carries a 8 pack of Shin Black for $10, though it might be regional

Also, passing along a "tip" ... add mozzarella cheese for another flavor experience Smilie I thought it would be weird but it is amazing and the only way I eat Shin Ramen now (unless I'm adding a bunch of my own veggies & meat in the bagged variety). Be prepared for the gooey aftermath, though, which these bowls make more sense than the boiling the bag variety. Gooey goodness for cheese lovers out there!

Is it safe to assume these have preservatives added? I searched the product page and reviews but could not find anything that says otherwise

You're correct. I've seen it at my local Costco.
