Smilie grabbed Venus 9.99 and Gillette men's 10.99 used digitals and had a 5 wys 20 booster added some bic pens. Paid about 15 and tax and received 15 wags cash back

I bought 2 Gillette razor/refill and 2 colgate toothpastes. the $1 DQ wouldn't work. So paid more than I should have but it was a $6 MM.

fyi if you're doing the Revlon $4 wys $12 RR, it prints a revlon manu coupon good off $4 wys $12 (again). So stupid.

Some people get special personalized DQs or point booster cats. Since I had a point booster cat, it gave me extra points making it a mm in addition to the 10k I got for gillette and $5 for colgate.

I tried an order with 2 x tresemme + 1 x crest since the ad says buy 3 get $5 register rewards, along with 2 x irish spring since ad says $5 register rewards wyb 2, had 2 x colgate in the order and the $5 wags cash wys $20 q - only the colgate rr printed, somehow the store did not have a paper ad, but I stayed at the register scrolling on my phone for the ad to show the manager and he finally relented and put $10 wags cash on my account. wth can't they make it so what's in the ad works in the store? Did I mess this up somehow?
edit - irish spring is wags cash back, not rr, and it looks like I did get that $5 so only the tresemme / crest offer borked on me.

I see where you edited now. I was gonna say that Irish Spring is not a RR, it's buy 2 earn $5 WC so you probably did earn it. Can't explain the Tresemme/Crest, other than maybe one of the items didn't count for the deal. Did you check the offers page to see if everything you bought tracked for the deal?

If I use $5 RR from last week can it still quality for $5 CB / when you buy $20 on $21 total order? thanks for your help...

If it is a register reward, not a manufacturer coupon/reward. They have slightly different language on the coupon itself. If I recall correctly, it is the small words at the very top that makes a difference.

A true register reward comes off at the end, so your $20 spend is intact. The other comes off before it totals so it counts against your spend.

I think! I don't do very many spend deals for this exact reason, so please correct me if I am wrong.

So long as it's not a Store RR. The wags store RRs have a small barcode, not a regular one like most RRs. If you use a regular manu RR, you'll be ok but the store one will reduce your spend total by whatever the store RR amount is. So if the wags store RR is $5, then your total will be reduced by $5. So never use the store RRs but manu RRs are ok.

I knew there was language I was missing when I tried to explain the difference. Walgreens definitely keeps us on our toes!

I haven't been doing too much at Wags so I haven't had to look closely at RR to know the difference but I knew there were 2 options for RR.

Yeah when they started issuing the WSRRs again, it caught me off guard when I did a point deal. I figured it out quick. WSRRs barcodes are small, regular RRs barcodes are larger.
