Hey guys - Just a quick PSA for when these orders likely get xcled - When you call to complain, whine, threaten to never shop at HD again, yell at or say how you'll sue them, blablabla, remember that the person you're speaking to didn't cancel or decide to do so to your order. They will stick to the script. Take the 20% off your next order, free ship or whatever consolation offer they give and move on.

They aren't getting paid enough to care about your interpretation of a law or that you will never shop there again and how much you spend there. Trust this.

Should go without saying, but some of the posts here are pretty concerning...

This was a real chickenshit move by HD. I could see sending out small gift cards for wasting peoples time but to give coupons you can't use is an insult and pisses me off. Day to day price =$1050, jacked up price =$1850 but you have a 40% coupon that makes it $1110. I would have been fine with just an apology. I'm currently renovating my house and from now on I will drive a little farther to Lowes. After this and an appliance fiasco I'm done with Horrible Depot.

Edit:
I guarantee after these coupons expire these mattresses with go back down to normal day to day prices. In the case of the mattress we all ordered it will go from $1800 back down to $1000.

Nah, Home depot is still WAY better than Lowe's, way better deals and way better when it comes to honoring sales, clearance sales, price mistakes, etc. Lowes NEVER honors anything.

This mattress was on the Deal of the day. Purchased from the site, 2 days later the order was canceled. Pretty much the terminology of "Bait and switch" as now they email me wanting to purchase it again with a much higher price.
