I had an AD pop up on me and decided to click on it and it seems like Dell has an actual sale on the pale gray version. If you are looking for that color or it makes no difference to you then I'm sure that $15 saved is worth it. I am hoping that I got it all correct this is my first time posting.

I bought 3 anywheres and a G602 when I was in graduate school and none of them last more than two years before going double click or other problems. Then I gave up this brand and bought some random brand on Amazon in 2016 @10 bucks, which still works fine after 5 years
When the heck did a mouse become so expensive? I'm assuming it's Bluetooth?

How does the multi device work? If you have a laptop and iPad right next to each other does that switch ok?
65 bucks for a mouse? What could possibly justify that cost?

How the hell can Logitech keep producing much expensive mice and not provide anywhere to store the dongle? Any $5 staples wireless mouse somehow can include it.

The 1st and 2nd gen has a storage spot inside the mouse. Did they remove that from the new generation? If so that sounds silly.

Yes, they removed the storage spot. There is nothing that opens up on the bottom of the mouse. I thought the same thing as you when I first opened the box up and looked for the slot like my M590.

Just FYI, the utility of these mice such as master, anywhere, G502 etc is mainly because of the customizing software. That's what you are mainly paying for. For me the fact that anywhere can track on glass is important as well since I also use my laptop on my dining table sometimes. If you just want a regular non customizable 3 button usb mouse then you are better off buying a $5 mouse on Amazon. They work just fine

I own this mouse and the previous gen (2s), and have also owned the latest two gens of the MX Master and performance MX.

I have small hands, and the new "MX Masters" are slightly larger than the original "Performance MX" which led me to sticking to the "MX Anywhere" lineup.

Here's my reasons for why I paid for this mouse:
- Tracking on any surface is great. Glass, table, bed, sofaโ€ฆ you name it, I haven't had trouble ever.
- Battery life is fantastic. I probably charge it once every 4-6 months and I use it probably 6-8 hours a day.
- USB-C charging. I'm a one-cable fits all person
- 3 device pairing. Going deeper into this one: I have 3 devices that stays paired, two Mac's and one PC. You click the button on the back to switch and it pairs flawlessly and no issues on either Mac or PC. I also have a Keychron keyboard that does 3 device pairing. So, I have one USB-C cable that can charge my keyboard or mouse, and all devices are paired in the same sequence on both peripherals allowing me to only have one set on my desk. The convenience alone is worth the price to me.

Cons:
- USB dongle has no homeโ€ฆ but I have never used it, so I just keep it in my cable carrying case.
- Not the most finger oil resistant material

So, you're using it in BT mode, on all devices, correct? Smooth experience?

Yes, have only ever used it with Bluetooth. Smooth and no hiccups. I am not doing gaming on it though, more productive work. I make no guarantees this actually lives up to the "performance mouse" classification, but it definitely has no issues with precision dragging cells within my excel spreadsheet ๐Ÿ˜‚

The mag scroll wheels on logi mice are amazing.

They're the only thing I've found that can mimick on windows, the touchpad scrolling on macos.

Being able to "throw" a long page, or file directory is the most amazing thing on windows.

$65 for a $10 mouse. Good job with the inflation Biden.
I think Biden should give everyone a free mouse along with a free computer and laptop. May as well give everyone not working a house to put the mouse and computers. They'll also need some income of course. Biden needs to take a class on economics. Confused

That won't last long. I went through all those instant fixes with my previous 3 MX Anywhere mice. Eventually, you will need to replace the switch. If you know how to solder, it is the ultimate fix. I fixed one of mine and it works great! Make sure that you use the Omron switch. It cost about $4 to fix it for me with one more spare switch left.
Soldering absolutely does work, but it is easier to fix the OMRON switches by opening them up and bending the thin copper spring back into its original shape.
You can remove the top cover of the OMRON switches by gently prying up the snap-on clips at each end.
The re-bending fix lasts for as long as it took for the double-click issue to show up, so if it took 3 years to occur, then you'll get another 3 years from the fix.
The tools for re-bending are: magnifying glass, tweezers, Xacto knife or other thin metal implement (for prying the clips).
There are several videos and discussion posts out on the web for this trick.

Here's the one I followed:

Anything you use for 100 hours is worth some money.

Some notes:

-small (too small?)

-light

-click lag is small enough for a (non-professional) gamer

-blue-tooth means you can use it on multiple devices

-no place inside the mouse to store the receiver

-but if you lose the stupid dongle you can still use this mouse thanks to bluetooth.
