I searched and didn't see this posted. I just picked up one of these yesterday at Target for $39.99 and was able to get the $10 back today. This is a 2021 release. The remote has voice and volume control.

The Roku Express 4K+ is on sale for $10 off it's normal price of $39.99, bringing it to $29.99. Walmart happens to sell for $39.00 normally, so technically is the cheapest at $29.00, though multiple retailers have it for $29.99 (e.g., Target, Best Buy, Amazon, Roku's own site).

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Roku-E.../217956994

Also can be found at these stores for $29.99 (probably others, too, as this seems to be a universal sale):

Target: https://www.target.com/p/roku-exp...nk=sametab NLA

Best Buy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/roku...Id=6449512 NLA

Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Roku-Expre...0916TKFF2/

Roku: https://www.roku.com/products/rok...ss-4k-plus

Note that Walmart also sells an exclusive "Roku Express 4K" (no plus), which is a bit cheaper, but the remote lacks the voice control and volume button. Right now, the 4K+ is actually cheaper than the 4K by $5 while this sale runs. It's not a huge savings, but 25% off ain't bad.

Last note: check your Roku offers if you already have an account. I signed into my new Roku yesterday and had an offer to buy an Express 4K+ for $25, but YMMV on that (and it was limited to one per account).
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I do this, and it works great. Also make sure to own your own router/modem to save on rental fees unless your system requires the Xfinity X1 system.
Yep, owning your own modem is generally the way to go with Xfinity if you don't have a data cap. Unfortunately, we have a 1.2tb cap which we routinely exceed. So we pay $25/mo their xFi service that includes unlimited data and the X1 modem/router. If we were to add unlimited data and user our own modem, Comast would charge $30/mo. Crazy.

Good deal. Thanks OP! Needed to upgrade my Roku anyway and was able to get this for $25. For those interested in the ultra, Roku is also running a promo for it at $70. It was listed at the bottom of the list when you click the link above and login. Will show up if eligible so YMMV

Is there any reason to get this over the 4K stick+ for $40?

I did the same time but comcast router kept freezing up & I had to reboot it couple of times a week. Bought a Deco m9 plus mesh system so I just turned off the wifi on the Comcast router. Let's see if it would resolve me issues.

Why is this so much cheaper than something like Apple TV hardware? It can't all be brand-tax, is it?

I don't have a 4k tv. Would this provide something better than an older generation Roku? Thanks

I have an older Sharp 1080p TV with an integrated Roku. I signed up for HBOMax and the Roku would consistently crash after about 30 minutes when using HBOMax, plus it was incredibly slow. I was able to get the Roku Express 4k+ deal from Roku for $25.

Works great now. No crashing and much faster. I was a little concerned that having two Rokus on one TV might have issues, but the people at Roku designed it right.

The only feature I wish it had was the remote that supports headphones.

If you don't mind using your phone, the Roku app has the headphones feature.

If your current Roku doesn't feel slow or have any other hardware issues, then there is no benefit in upgrading.

Purchased one of these from kohl's last week at same price. Worked well, looked good on 4K TV, interface was snappy. Came with everything you need in the box. For 25 bucks, no brainer if you need one. Only thing I would note is that it did run a bit warm.

I just got this direct from Roku. I have apps signing me out constantly - happened on more than 1 app. Anyone else have this problem? If it does this one more time, I'd have had it.

I had that same issue on the two 4K+ units I set up this past week or so. Certain apps logged me out the second time I went in to load them. But that hasn't happened since, and it didn't happen with all apps (happened to me with Disney+ and Hulu, but not with Netflix and the others). I assumed it was a weird little bug or something with the initial setup process. If it does keep happening, then we'll definitely have a problem, but so far so good.

I use cast function in chrome to send browser contents to TV. Will it be possible to do that with this device? Can someone confirm please?
Instead of using Chrome, you can turn DLNA on and serve up videos from your PC to your Roku that' attached to the TV. It works very well.
