Back down to $3999 from $4999 a week ago. Similar reduction on other sizes.

EDIT: $3,399.99 with EPP on Samsung.com (Thanks @Mac-IM)

QN85a line also has price reductions similar to previous sale. Just without the GC promos.

Been on the hunt for the 85" Q90a but have been hesitant pulling the trigger after seeing previous promos and sales.

I really want to bite, but I just can't bring myself to it, knowing that this was just on sale recently for $3,060

Same boat. I didn't really want to order directly from Samsung. But with the LG QNED MiniLED90 86" and the Sony X95j 85" both coming out within the next month, there might be some good price pressure on the QN90A over the next couple months.

I recently purchased qn90a. Picture quality is awesome even in bright room. Go for it. Worth every $$.

The 86" LG will be MSRP of $3,999, already available for preorder here: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...s_hdr.html
The 85" Sony has an MSRP of $4,500, multiple listing for that.
These are going to push down to $3,500/$3000 with sales as these types always do, which is why they should help put pressure on the QN90A price.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the QN90A, but I also used the $500 credit offer for purchasing a Galaxy S21. So total for the 85" QN90A & Galaxy S21 was $3,660. I'm hoping to unload the S21 for around $600, which would bring the total down to $3,060.

I got it at the sale bfore it, at the $3300. Still not a bad deal at that price range. 3999 is definitely not worth it. 3060, if that comes back... jump on it!

I think the shipping being 1 month away was quite useful, gave me a full month to try to price match (missed the $3060 deal Frown, didn't think it would drop more. Now I'm hawkeyes waiting for another deal) and waiting to see if OLED gets more reasonable. I may still cancel my order for OLED. So I'm not too disappointed. I keep my room dark, but nothing beats Samsung's 4 year financing. So really torn between OLED or good financing deal, and a good financing deal lets me save/invest more money so it's hard to say no to that.

Are the newer Samsung sets still lacking dolby vision support?
