My family plays Coup about every christmas eve... whatever your skill level at gaming, you will catch on real quick to the basics. It's one of those games thats not so much about winning or losing... it about calling bullshit on your friends.
I always lose at Coup. It's like Rock,Paper,Scissors on steroids. My husband and teenagers love it, though 😂
Highly recommend for anyone into bluffing and deduction games. Super easy to learn.

Doh, I wanted to buy from Target for the extra 5% off but we ordered books already and I do not need anything else. No local pickup so Amazon it is. thanks OP, repped.

My friends and I played Avalon which I think is similar game as this. How is Coup different from Avalon? Is it just the theme and character difference but plays the same way?
Very different though they both rely on similar themes of lying or deducting. Avalon is two teams, one trying to fail the other trying to find out who did it.

Coup is a single player takes all game where you can potentially have 2 of 7 roles. There are three of each type so if you see one on the table, and you have 2 of the same, you know nobody can have that role. It starts out as a bluffing game but then kind of turns into card counting in a way. Very fun but the only problem is if you are really good, people will team up against you.

I think you are thinking of Resistance. That one is very similar to Avalon.

Not getting .35 cents off was your deal breaker?

You're doing life all wrong.

35 cents and I prefer Target. In fact I do not have prime but since I got free shipping on Amazon last night for an order I have 24 hours of free shipping thus allowing me to buy this game today with free shipping.

If you know someone with Prime who lives close like a family member have them add you to their plan. You get to add another adult account at the same address, yet have your own login. You could still order for free in the future on their account, yet have your own account with your personal info. Just a random tip.

Have a good day. Happy gaming!

It is easy to find $25 worth of stuff to get free shipping. But a lot of deals like this game I don't want the game bad enough to find other items to buy so having the 24 horrs of free shipping is nice.

I will probably have to pay for a month when the new season of The Boys comes out.
