Starting July 23rd customers on eligible postpaid T-Mobile rate plans can add up to 6 new lines and get them 50% off.

UPDATE 7/21: New info has been received that heavily modifies eligibility. We now have a list of eligible SOC codes and 9+ line plans appear to now be eligible. Unfortunately it seems ONE All-In plans are ineligible. Sorry for those that got their hopes up. Please see the source link for updated eligibility.

~~Only lines 3-8 on your plan are eligible~~. Simple Choice, Select Choice, Amplified, 55+, Military, etc are ineligible.

There was a reasoning provided in Reddit that 9+ is considered a bundle and 50% off wouldn't make sense. Let's hope they don't update their billing system for the 9+ lines.

If you start new account today then the 3rd line is free and each additional line is $10 magenta plan. That already included autopay discount.

My family has T-mobile "unlimited data with T-Mobile Essentials". I am wondering if the customers with this plan can able to get add a line for 50% off? In OP's link, some plans are excluded. Not sure if this comes under the excluded plan.
Also, thought of buying iPhone 11 ($300 off the original $600 phone price) with them for my college-going kid. Please help me to decide if this is a good decision.

Re-reading the linked page, it is only 50% off lines after the first two (1st two at full price, probably). This will be a hard sell for a pal and her son to move from AT&T, as they only need two lines.
