We have an acquaintance that works at Samsung in Plano, TX who a few months ago said that they'll use the chip shortage as the reason not to come out with a new Note but that they already have no intention of doing anymore work on future Note phones. The chip shortage is just a convenient excuse to consolidate the phone lines.

Kind of sad to be honest, I LOVE the Note series. I've had a 4, 8 and now 10+. I guess it's going to be a while till I upgrade again. In all honesty I use the stylus very little, I mainly like the square-ish shape larger screen/battery and the spec bump they usually received.

Yeah it should automatically be applied to the trade in value. It's just the values are really low, mine was only $50 so it showed as $150 after credit.

I am seeing 850 for the Note 20 Ultra does this include the extra 100? I saw they gave 850 few days back to get the discounted fold 2.. I was expecting 850 plus 100. I'm now having second thoughts. Is the website gitchy or is this final deal?

If you read the promotional material, the MAX trade in is $800 (which is for single trade in Fold2), if you reserved then you get additional $100 for max of $900 for trading in a SINGLE device. If you add another trade in you can get more.

Hmmm so 850 for the Note 20 U is the final.. Guess I will be skipping an August donation to Samsung for the first time in quite a few years.I do get another 70$ off for .edu discount but can't justify 1000$ plus for this right now.

I'm Samsung fan, but this is way too expensive. Going to pass on this one. Even with a trade in of S21 ultra and a A71 ends up being 900 (not including tax).
