The Sofrin is a better light, and it has USB C.

I concur. Far better.

Anker makes many good things. But their flashlights is not one of them

I had one of these and returned it. The settings are too confusing for me. Low, medium, high, fast strobe, slow strobe. I just want momentary and on/off on a tailcap.

I bought this light from last front page deal and it sucks. It does not retain lighting mode when you switch it off. The memory function does not work. I consulted with Anker, they sent a new one. Same issue. I love other Anker products just not their flashlights. I've picked up the Nicron light from a previous deal which is a great light and I'm picking up the Sofrin based on great reviews and the UI.

So, what would be a good alternative to a steam light stinger? I need a bright light that will last about 4 hours at a very bright light level. Prefer not to spend more than $40. Is that impossible? I don't care if it's on the bigger side. The stinger seems to die after about 30-45 min. Thanks.
