The powerful DEWALT 15 Amp, 5800 RPM motor allows users to complete a majority of applications. The rack and pinion fence allow for fast, easy adjustments and provides the capacity to rip 4x8 sheet goods. Anyone like these 8 1/4" table saws? I don't know if I want to step down from my 10" even though I should replace it.

That's one reason I, as a woodworker, do not go for it.

It's a true construction saw. Meaning it's cuts can be rough, and not very precise. Plus, I'm not sure if it can handle a dado stack.

Personally, I've decided to focus on using a track saw, but no one makes the track saw I need. They are either 6½" , or blade on right side of the tool. I'm holding out for the Bosch 7¼ profactor strongarm (with left sided blade) that they will introduce next year.

I'd really love the 10" makita to use with a track, but it's right sided blade only.

So many tools... but none seem to be exactly what I want or can use since I only have one functioning arm/leg (And limited space in my 12x20 shop). So I'll be using my panel saw for sheet goods for a while it seems.

All in all, I'd say to go for a bigger, and better, table-saw that allows more versatility.
