Yet another power strip product from Anker that can't be bothered with a UL or ETL listing. The product Q&A claims a 15A rating but I see no indication that this is using anything other than the 18 gauge power cable from other products that should be rated for no more than 10A (perhaps resulting in the smoky fire in one of the reviews?). Even worse is that the Q&A suggests UL listing but pictures document the opposite (nothing on the body of the case).

And worst of all, this all comes at a price that is no different from solutions with much bigger brand reputations to protect like APC and Tripp Lite.

This should be a hard pass for anyone.

Good luck!

This Anker Power Strip has more plugs and does appear to have ETL rating for $5 more

While I can indeed look up the ETL listing notes for model A2762 I also see some recent reviews from May and June of this year with competing statements about whether the device still bears an ETL UL-listed mark. Given their problematic history and considering that this does incorporate surge protection (which is actually worse for device safety when not dealing with companies who specialize in surge protection circuitry) this should still remain a hard pass.

Until some sea change occurs, anything Anker makes with an AC outlet is probably not worth it, especially when being sold at prices comparable to those of APC, Tripp Lite, etc.

Good luck!
