How do you figure? All pcie gen 4 allows is a gen 4 nvme drive. Which at this price bracket I doubt that costly of a drive will be considered as either an OS drive or a mass storage drive. All current pcie gen4 gpu's run at there same spec using gen 3 as well, so your not losing any compatibility at all…
I mean for $78 you get support for gen 2 to current Ryzen CPU's. With good heatsinks and power delivery. Honestly this seems to be a solid deal. I haven't had a chance to test out the board personally yet, but I would be completely comfortable running a 5800x/5900x on this with pbo on.
My last mini itx build had one damn header and I was very thankful I had a 1 to 4 splitter on hand

comparing with asrock b450 pro4, that one seems have 3 phase x 2
while for the addons, i believe i'm going to plug in a random gpu and a 10gbe intel network card / some infiniband card in future so i don't think the exisiting 2.4gbe will be a difference for me
the current scenario is like, I have a "x370 prime pro + 1700x" and a "b450m mortar + 1700x" working fine but planned to upgrade both of them to 5950x for future compile need after the price of 5950x or 5900x go, let's say 300 bucks
or - let's say follow what the other bios modders has done and settled until am5 release? I'm kinda hesitating here.
