Rtings.com is probably one of the best, if not the best. They give scores based on different common use cases and very detailed explanations for why they went with a score for each area they test. It's also far more technical and data-based compared to most other sites where the first 2/3 of the review is just a rehash of the marketing material talking about how this is the best TV to ever hit the market in the history of TVs and then the final 1/3 or so of the article is "we tried playing a couple games and watching netflix, it looked fine to us."

Won't necessarily tell you which is "better," but the first letter pertains to where it sits in their lineup and the second # tells you the model year. The C series is LG's midrange while the G series is their top of the line. However, it's generally accepted that the OLED panels are the same on the C & G TV's so picture quality will be pretty much identical. Basically, C9 is the 2019 midrange; CX is the 2020 midrange; GX is the 2020 "top dog;" and C1 is the 2021 midrange. Hope that helps.

Picked up at store. Not sure if they ship. I'm sure there is wiggle room though.

Also, I have a buddy who owns a TV repair shop. He replaces panels without any issue with burn in. He says it's not an issue. Also the Video Only guy said the same. As long as you don't use the term "burn in" and just say the screen colors are uniform or something like that, LG has no issue with replacing them. They just don't want to start a precedent that they replace burn in screens or even acknowledge the issue. It would be admitting guilt that burn in happens.

And before anyone doubts me that it's not an issue, I stated above my buddy OWNS and runs a TV repair shop. He's replaced a few burned in screens. He was directly told this by LG. Just don't say the "b" word.

Also, he told me burn is is VERY rare on the newest models.

What a great deal. I bought a 77" C9 14 months ago for $3800 w/o any of the bonus perks here. Not apples to apples comparison but I'm amazed at how much the price has dropped. If you have the living room space and the budget for it, run don't walk - this is the best TV you'll ever own.

They have open box for $2429. This is better option than refurbished they sell for $2499 because open box carries full warranty.

So looks like everywhere the price is reduced ($200) even lg website price is reduced to $2799. When I checked the lg website there was a pop up for 10% off promo for sign up. Not sure whether it will work on OLED tvs. If it does that would be really good price (2799-280= 2519)

Very good price, no matter from where you buy.
The refurbs are now $2299.

So refurb $2299 or open box $2429? The latter says "incomplete". Curious what it's missing. 🤔🤷 ♂️

In my old home, I had my C7 in a room with a wall of windows behind & a foyer with windows in door, side & top of the door facing it. The C7 works great in bright rooms. There was a reflection off the glass from the foyer windows but after a few weeks my brain learned to ignore it. The OLED is somewhat more reflective than LCD, but the picture is amazing & plenty bright for well lit rooms.

I've got a 65" B7 (2017 model) and it still wows me. OLED is the best. Looking to get a 77, likely this Black Friday.
I do wonder if the earbuds are worth it compared to getting this from Costco.

FWIW, I have a C6 with what looks like the LUT issue (image retention that is only visible on red backgrounds), purchased Jan of '17, and LG phone support and Twitter both have told me my TV is "too old" and pushed me to out of pocket/authorized repair centers immediately. I'm not sure if it's worth trying again as I don't know if their support is just a dice roll; ie. did I get a customer service agent that is willing to help or not, or if their CRM automatically pulls up "previous calls".

Additionally, I don't have an authorized repair center within 100miles me... I'm in San Diego and LG keeps referring me to repair centers in Orange County. Every place I called quoted >1k for a panel replacement.
